~ (1995) provides an overview of the existing information on this issue. It examines the behaviors characterized as incestuous between mothers and sons, and the reasons why the reported cases of this abuse involving boys as victims is so low.
~ (1997) is a psychobiological approach to the complexities of traumatic memory of childhood sexual abuse. This text looks at the physical changes in the brain associated with trauma, specifically childhood sexual abuse.
~ (2003) is a self-help book for young women (10-16 years) who have been sexually abused. Topics include: what abuse is, the normal feeling experienced by someone who experiences abuse, what the victim needs to do now, and how to get help.
~ (1996) explains the current "state of the art" of sex therapy. Current views of sexual dysfunctions and clinical techniques are discussed. Theoretical constructs are presented to clarify the reasoning behind the interventions which may be used for each of the sexual dysfunctions listed in DSM-IV.
